The plettac Digital CCD Camera - FAC 858 NRF
The development and launch of this new camera
came about as a result of plettac Security's direct response to the needs
of one of our clients, Network Rail, where
there is an essential requirement to be able
to see the directional orientation of a train
when viewing on a CCTV camera.
Conventional CCTV cameras when producing
an output that represents an image containing
a point of high intensity 'incident' red light give a white output instead of
red.
This new plettac camera through a precise combination of
filtering and a special plettac Day / Night
lens achieves the required red output necessary
for this application and as a result of the
site tests carried out, this camera was immediately
type approved by Network Rail.
The pictures viewable at the top of this
page show the results of actual on-site demonstrations
carried out by plettac Security.
