plettac Security UK Ltd have supplied Liverpool City
Council with a brand new mobile enforcement
vehicle.
This vehicle can collect video footage from
its top mounted plettac PL2000 camera whilst mobile or static,
and record that footage using it's built-in
plettac MP4-800 DVR.
GPS position and time synchronised text overlay
is also recorded at each location.
The footage is then transfered into the Liverpool
City Council plettac DVR network upon its return to base.
The above picture shows part of the exterior
and part of the interior of the vehicle.
All of the CCTV equipment in the van was
fiited by us at plettac Security and this entire system has been
type approved by the VCA.
plettac Security UK Ltd has acquisitioned the company Orchard Fire and Security to further strengthen and broaden its business
structure within the security industry.

Sefton Council Traffic Management Scheme
plettac Security have carried out work on the upgrading
of CCTV cameras within the Sefton Council
Traffic Management Scheme, in Liverpool.
We have also added several of our Digital
Video Recorders alongside the equipment operating
within the scheme, providing 24/7 continuous
recording of the images in high quality.
plettac launches new camera
plettac Security UK Ltd have launched a new camera,
the FAC858 NRF

New plettac PL range of cameras
The new PL range of cameras from plettac security are now available.
Information about this new range will be
shown in the product pages here on the plettac website very soon.

plettac new Wide Area Network installation
Our FAC 858 camera fitted with 20:700 mm zoom lens shown below is in use looking over Stockbridge
village, Knowsley 'Eye in the Sky' project.
This installation uses a WiFi link into the
Wide Area Network ( full IP connection )
to link police and local authorities with
a full analogue real-time picture.
Kirkby Leisure Centre upgrade
plettac PL2000 cameras have now been installed at the Kirkby
Leisure Centre in Knowsley Liverpool, as
part of a recent system upgrade.
The installation was carried out by local
installer ICS.
The centre is a brand new state of the art
leisure facility which opened in September
2007.
plettac launches new 10TB storage Digital Video
Recorder !!!
The latest generation of plettac Security’s Digital Recording Systems
the MP4/800, offers high performance MPEG4 Compression.
The system records broadcast quality real
time video and crystal clear audio from up
to 16 analogue and 16 IP cameras whilst consuming
a fraction of disk space of other products
on the market. The storage capacity of the
MP4/800 has now been expanded up to 10 terabytes
( 10,000 gigabytes )

plettac Sentio DVR installed at NSPCC Liverpool
One of plettac Security's Sentio Digital Video Recorders has been
installed at The National Society for the Prevention
of Cruelty to Children, Hargreaves Centre at Liverpool.
This DVR was fitted and commissioned by local
installer ICS

plettac IP Video equipment specified by Liverpool
City Council
The plettac VNS range of IP Video equipment is now in
use for bus lane enforcement in Liverpool
City Centre.
The system uses IP Technology to carry real-time
high quality images from the camera sites
back into the control rooms.
The plettac system is the only one in the country being
used for bus lane enforcement which uses
Video IP Technology.
